Route Map

After about 20-25 different options, I’ve finally settled on the route. My plan is to take off from Shreveport, Louisiana on April 18th and try to be home in Vancouver by September 3rd. The route involves spending at least one night in all of the lower 48. Some key milestone dates - May 29th in Boston, June 16th in Columbus, OH, June 19th in Indy. My current plan is to take a 2-week break from there to do some family travel, then back to Indy to finish for the second half of the ride. There likely will be another week off in August to take our youngest daughter to college. That will likely slide the finish date back, but a LOT has to happen between now and then.

Cool!
Looks like the map you've settled on is a good one, except for Nevada! That will be a brutal stretch but at least there won't be that many cars.
Any interest in a group joining you on the last stretch home or you want to finish this solo?
I have to dispute the figure of a mere 20-25 route changes and say that it is more like 2000-2500!!!!!
Love it! That is ambitious and I am jealous. First thought was that symmetry with your last long ride requires that you leave your gear with FDJ in Indianapolis.
